Who Will Win The NL Division Series?

Stay connected for news and updates

For the first time since October 15, 2001, we will have two Game 5s of Division Series on the same day. On that day ten years ago, the Mariners beat the Indians and the Yankees beat the Athletics and both advanced to the ALCS; the day before, the Diamondbacks defeated the Cardinals to move on to the NLCS.

This year, we have an identical scenario, with the leagues flipped; the Yankees/Tigers ALDS was decided on Thursday and now, with a late Friday afternoon contest in Milwaukee and a Friday evening game in Philadelphia, the NLCS participants will be finalized by the end of the day.

In Milwaukee, the Brewers send Yovani Gallardo against the Diamondbacks' Ian Kennedy. In Philadelphia, former Blue Jays teammates Roy Halladay (Phillies) and Chris Carpenter (Cardinals) will be the pitching opponents.

Who will win these series and advance to the National League Championship Series, which will begin on Sunday? Vote in our poll.
