Three teams, the Cubs, Cardinals and Red Sox, all have managerial openings right now. And all three appear to be considering the same possible candidates. SI.com’s Jon Heyman has the latest man who’s desired by two teams:

Mike Maddux is currently pitching coach for the Texas Rangers; he’s been in that position for three years and the Rangers have been in the World Series the last two. Before that he spent six years as pitching coach for the Milwaukee Brewers; they made the playoffs in 2008. He was a middle relief pitcher for nine teams in a 15-year major league career. He’s never been a manager before, but others have made this transition successfully, including current Padres manager Bud Black.

And he’s got a kind of famous brother. Maybe you’ve heard of him.
