Jimmy Rollins' new three-year deal to remain with the Phillies is worth a guaranteed $33 million. The contract includes a vesting option, reported to be easily attainable, for a fourth season worth another $11 million.
ESPN's Jerry Crasnick was the first to report the deal and dollar amount, which has since been confirmed by multiple outlets, including MLB.com. Rollins also tweeted about his new contract Saturday afternoon:
I see you all know by now. Gotta deal with me for 3 (4) more years!

Rollins turned 33 last month; if the fourth year of his contract vests, he'll be signed through 2015 when he'll be 36 years old. Fortunately, he's still a productive hitter when healthy. While he's yet to match the numbers he put up in 2007 during his National League MVP campaign, his .268/.338/.399 line and 101 OPS+ from this past season was his best since 2008.
