A couple of weeks ago, the Astros' new general manager chatted with fans on MLB.com. Frankly, Luhnow's answers didn't exactly crackle with candor. But we couldn't help noticing this exchange:
aandycfb: Do you have any favorite baseball blogs?
Jeff Luhnow: Hardball Times, Baseball Prospectus, The Book, among others. There are so many smart people writing about baseball ... it's great for the game.
Yeah, that's stretching the definition of "blogs" ... but who's quibbling? If I'm an Astros fan, I'm giddy right now.
