Might assuming control of the Dodgers jeopardize Major League Baseball's ability to hand-pick new owners every time a franchise is for sale?
Craig Calcaterra thinks it might. And he's a pretty smart guy. I do suspect that Bud Selig's lawyers have considered this possibility, and aren't too worried. But I've been wrong before.
