Wednesday night in New York, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen got ejected in the first inning by plate umpire Todd Tichenor, for arguing a called third strike against Paul Konerko.
Instead of ripping first base out of the ground or throwing a pile of bats upon the field, Guillen registered his protest the modern way ... Twitter:

Hey, English isn't Ozzie's first language and anyway those buttons on the phone are too small.
You have to give him credit for his candor.
Presumably there will be a fine, though. And while there's no rule about managers and coaches and social media -- as there are for players -- that might well change now. The funny thing is, until last night probably nobody every figured any need for such a rule. Ozzie Guillen: groundbreaker.
