Last Saturday night in the Bronx, Adrian Gonzalez went down meekly the first three times he faced CC Sabathia: strikeout, grounder to first base, GiDP.
His fourth time up, with two men on base and the Red Sox already up 3-0, Gonzalez asked Terry Francona if he could hit like Ichiro. Francona told him to do whatever he wanted, as long as he got a hit.
The results? See for yourself (but Sabathia isn't going to forget what happened anytime soon).
