MLB TV Schedule, 5/21: Cubs/Red Sox, Mets/Yankees, Athletics/Giants

For the second weekend in a row, Fox-TV presents regional games in prime time on Saturday night. All of them begin at 7:10 p.m. Eastern time -- which ought to provide some interesting shadows in the West Coast matchup. Here's a brief preview of each one. As the old saying goes: "check local listings for the game in your area".

Mets at Yankees: the Mets won Friday night and held the Yankees to just four hits. Chris Capuano pitches for the NLers; A.J. Burnett for the hosts. Announcers: Joe Buck and Tim McCarver.

↵↵

Cubs at Red Sox: the teams combined for more runs last night (20) than were scored in the entire 1918 World Series (19), which was the last time a Cubs team played at Fenway Park. Carlos Zambrano starts tonight against Alfredo Aceves. Announcers: Kenny Albert and Eric Karros.

↵↵

Rangers at Phillies: Many of the interleague matchups this weekend are "rivalry" games. This one isn't. Pitchers: Colby Lewis and Cliff Lee. Announcers: Matt Vasgersian and Tom Grieve.

Athletics at Giants: Last night's game, won by the host Giants, took 10 innings. Brett Anderson starts against Tim Lincecum tonight. Announcers: Dick Stockton and Mark Grace.
