Jamey Carroll -- otherwise enjoying a fine season, and reportedly a trade target -- has 288 at-bats this season, and somehow only eight RBI.
Carroll is blessed with neither power or a great number of runners on base ahead of him. But it hasn't helped that he's 7 for 45 with runners in scoring position (which in his case is third base, and sometimes second).
