For me, this six-player trade is really about two players: Doug Fister and Francisco Martinez.
Fister's probably the best 12-30 pitcher in major-league history. Look at his ratios, and his run support. He's really good.
Minor-league third baseman Martinez was ranked by Baseball America as the Tigers' fourth-best prospect before the season, and the Mariners need high-ceiling hitters.
Everybody else is filler.
