The Washington Nationals released 43-year-old pinch-hitter Matt Stairs today, which might mean his career is over. That would be an absolute shame, though, because if one of 18 teams picks him up, he'll take over the all-time lead for most teams played on. Right now, he's tied with Mike Morgan, Ron Villone, and Octavio Dotel(!), all of whom have played for twelve different teams.
↵And if you ever wanted to know what every uniform Stairs wore looked like, go nuts.
