Brewers Turn Triple Play Against Dodgers

Stay connected for news and updates

An account from Dodger Thoughts:

The next batter, James Loney, hit a hard grounder up the middle. Second baseman Josh Wilson reached it behind second base and glove-flipped the ball to shortstop Yunkesky Betancourt to force Rivera. Betancourt's throw to first baseman Prince Fielder doubled-up Loney.

Kemp rounded third and tried to score, but was tagged out by catcher George Kattaras at home on a hands-first slide.

It looked like Kemp might have gotten a hand in before the tag, but the Dodgers haven't been able to buy a call all year. No, they literally haven't been able to buy a call all year. They'd get hit with all sorts of bank fees.
