Red Sox Turn World's Most Boring Triple Play

Stay connected for news and updates

At least when the Brewers did it on Monday, there was a little flash. Tuesday, the Red Sox had no flash. The Rays had runners on first and second with nobody out in the fourth when they sent Sean Rodriguez up to the plate against Erik Bedard. Bedard induced a ground ball to third base, where Jed Lowrie began a 5-4-3 triple play around the horn. Ooh, wow.

There will be video, but there is no video yet, so, .gif! .gif and video!
