Yankees-Athletics: Live-Blogging The Luncheon For The Friends Of Eric Plunk

And what a luncheon it was! The Yankees set a major league record by hitting three grand slams in one game, and the Athletics were the raffle winners of a 22-9 walloping.

Hello! I'd like to welcome each and every one of you to this afternoon's Yankees-Athletics game, also known as the Luncheon for the Friends of Eric Plunk. Please grab a plate and sit wherever you'd like.

I also encourage you to comment throughout the proceedings. If it's a neat comment and I'm not busy making jokes about how Eric Plunk is an ironic name for a pitcher to have, I just might publish it! (Hint: if your comment is especially vulgar, it won't be posted.)

As you may recall, I've already live-blogged an Athletics game this year, so we have already asked ourselves who is the most Athletics baseball player. The results:

HOWEVER. We will also be debating who is the most Yankees baseball player, and in a LIVE BLOG SPECIAL EVENT, we will attempt to determine the most 1992 player of all time. Yes, the most 1992 player of all time. We are finally in pursuit of the Great White Shark, harpoon in hand.
