Zach Britton was placed on the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury.
If you were to make up the stats of a pitcher who was pitching hurt, what would they look like?

Something like that. The Orioles rookie left-hander was a spring success story, carrying a 2.93 ERA into June. Since the start of June, though, Britton has been hit hard and often. On Thursday, he took a start into the sixth inning, but he was still too easy to hit, allowing twelve hits against the Royals. From Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports:
The Orioles placed pitcher Zach Britton on the 15-day disabled list tonight with a strained left shoulder. Infielder Cesar Izturis will take Britton's spot on the 25-man roster.
Ah, Cesar Izturis and the Orioles. It's like peanut butter and jelly, but the peanut butter is made from circus peanuts, and the jelly is just something you found floating in your pool. So perfect together.
No word on the severity of the injury, but Britton will likely undergo an MRI soon to determine the severity of the strain.
