MLB TV Schedule, 9/1: Brewers/Cardinals, Yankees/Red Sox

A couple of day games highlight Thursday's action. All times Eastern.

12 noon, CSN California: Athletics at Indians. These teams played till midnight, and have to be back for a matinee. Cleveland TV is MLB.TV, online only.

4 p.m., FSN Wisconsin, FSN Midwest: Cardinals at Brewers. The Cardinals go for the sweep in Milwaukee, but must count on a rookie making his first major league start -- Brandon Dickson -- facing Yovani Gallardo, not an easy task.

7 p.m., MLB Network, YES Network, NESN: Yankees at Red Sox. Even one Yankees player thinks these games take too long. Some MLBN viewers will get lucky and see Nationals/Braves instead.

8 p.m., FSN Southwest, SUN Sports: Rays at Rangers. If the Rays can win, and the Red Sox defeat the Yankees, Tampa Bay will creep to within 6.5 games of the wild card lead. Also, this game will probably end before the Yankees/Red Sox game does, even though it starts an hour later.
