Tuesday night, Arizona's Micah Owings, who spent the first seven weeks of the season in the minors, ran his record with the Diamondbacks to 8-0.
Oh, he did need a little help from his friends. With the score 1-1 after nine innings, Owings pitched the 10th and got hammered by the Dodgers for five runs. In the bottom of the inning, the Diamondbacks hammered a couple of Los Angeles relievers for six runs to make Owings the winner.
That's a really great rule, about who gets the win.
