Milwaukee will potentially have an extra home game against Arizona, and that make a big difference.
The Milwaukee Brewers will host the Arizona Diamondbacks for the first two games of the National League Division Series, and if the series gets to a fifth game, that will be in Milwaukee as well. Home-field advantage is pretty hard to quantify as a strategic advantage, but there probably isn't a happier team than the Brewers to have it, even if it might be only for one series:

Miller Park doesn't usually produce splits this extreme, so it's probably just a quirky, unrepeatable phenomenon. But any home-field advantage is good, and the Brewers did well to get it, winning five of their last six games. At home, of course.
