The Cardinals and Giants are meeting in the National League Championship Series. They are the last two World Series champions.
This is the first-ever such matchup. The only previous one that's even remotely comparable was the 1984 ALCS, where the Royals played the Tigers; Detroit won that year's World Series and Kansas City won it the following year.
We've already had an entire postseason's worth of thrills in one round. What will the next two bring?
