Things are not looking promising for Matt Holliday having a presence in Game 7.
A late scratch from Game 6 Sunday night because back stiffness, Holliday underwent an MRI during the game but never made an appearance in the dugout, making his status for Game 7 "very uncertain", per Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com adds that things seem to be getting worse for Holliday, not better:
Mike Matheny said Holliday's back tightened up more as the game progressed on Sunday. Not sure that bodes well for a Game 7 return.

After having the league's best offense during the regular season, the Cardinals are hitting just .217/.267/.327 in the NLCS, and need to come alive in Game 7 to keep their season afloat. While Holliday's absence from the lineup has the potential to hurt the club, the left fielder does have just four singles in 21 at-bats in the series.
