Towson University baseball's future in jeopardy

Stay connected for news and updates

Always sad to see a college baseball program possibly become a thing of the past, but Towson University in Maryland is considering scrapping their program for financial reasons.

It's not a hugely historical program and there's only one active alum in the majors (Casper Wells) along with a couple minor leaguers, most notably Charles Cononie, one of the Rays Single-A people suspended for meth. So ... yeah, Casper Wells! Save your program!
