Time keeps on slipping, slipping...into the future...
Doesn't it seem like yesterday that this New Blood card was issued by Pinnacle? But it wasn't yesterday, it was 1995 -- and now Chipper Jones has retired. Makes you think about time and stuff, doesn't it?
Other New Blood cards included Charles Johnson (last major league game on June 11, 2005), Carlos Delgado (May 10,2009), Shawn Green (September 29, 2007) and Alex Rodriguez (currently warming up for Game 1 of the ALDS).
