Sometimes the price of an item overshadows the item itself.
One of the things I tend not to do with eBay Item of the Day is make value judgments about the items I'm examining. It happens once in a while, but, by and large, I avoid commenting on the cost of the things being sold. Then something like this comes along with a price so completely off the scale that attention must be paid. Either Winning Women in Baseball and Softball is worth a penny, as it is being offered for by a number of sellers on Amazon.com, or it is in the same value league as a James Bond first edition.
How can a book that sold for $6.95 in 2000 about this subject command this kind of price -- or is there something I'm missing?
