With the Baseball Writers' Association of America currently conducting its annual Hall of Fame balloting, the National Baseaball Hall of Fame & Museum's Website has been reviewing this year's candidates. Today, it was time for Baseball's Greatest Designated Hitter, with a tweet that said this:
We continue our look at the 2013
@officialBBWAA HoF candidates with bio of speedster Edgar Martinez. http://ow.ly/gecOV
A few minutes later, that tweet was scrubbed, and replaced by the same tweet, less one interesting word.
A few minutes after that, this:
"Speedster" was a typo! Thank you all for the heads up.
