There was a minor fire at the home of the Red Sox Monday morning. Fortunately, no one was injured.
As if the Red Sox don't have enough problems these days, they had some trouble at their nearly century-old ballpark Monday morning:

Fortunately, Boston firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly and there was minimal damage. No one was injured:

The Red Sox will have a bit of cleanup to do, then, and they'll need to do it quickly, as Opening Day at Fenway is in just 46 days -- Friday, April 13 when the Rays visit Boston. One week later, on Friday, April 20 with the Yankees as visitors, the Red Sox will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first game ever played at Fenway Park, which was also against their New York rivals.
