↵In the 1970s the White Sox employed an organist named Nancy Faust who would play songs that could be associated with the players, but not always songs that the players wanted to hear.... a pitcher who shall remain nameless was arrested in the off-season engaged in lewd contact with a hooker named Lucille, who turned out, on investigation, to be a transsexual named Laverne. The next time this pitcher pitched in Chicago she threw in a few bars of "You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille."
