Many have asked, so here's the answer: Chipper is an easy first-ballot Hall of Famer. Easy. In fact, it'd be inexcusable to not vote for him.

It was inexcusable to not vote for Ron Santo, too. In 1980, his first year of eligibility, 370 of 385 BBWAA voters did not vote for him. With these things, inexcusable is just an opinion.
