An anniversary is approaching:
It has been three years since Selig appointed a special "blue ribbon" panel to examine the A's ballpark dilemma in the Bay Area.
It's easy to complain about how long this process has dragged on (fun, too!), but imagine how much longer it would take if Selig had cheaped out with a red or—God forbid—white ribbon panel. Yeah. Now who feels like a jerk?
