Bryce Harper In Nationals Lineup For Saturday, Batting 5th

During a win against the hometown Cincinnati Reds on Friday night, rookie Bryce Harper needed 10 stitches above his eye after throwing his bat at the wall in frustration. The bat rebounded and cut him, causing the injury. The incident will apparently not cause Harper to miss any playing time.

When the Nats take to the field to face the Reds again on Saturday night, Harper will be making the start in right field, according to the official Nationals Twitter feed.

Harper, who has batted in a number of different spots in the lineup since being called up from Triple A a few weeks ago, will bat fifth in the lineup, behind cleanup hitter Adam LaRoche and in front of Danny Espinosa. The Nats have yet to find a consistent spot where Harper can best contribute.
