Friday night, the Red Sox played the Phillies in Philadelphia. In the top of the ninth inning, Bobby Valentine disagreed with a call at first base by first-base umpire Gary Darling. I could show you a screenshot of the play in question, but what's important isn't the play. It isn't the beginning of Valentine's argument, which, granted, was phenomenal. What's important is the end of Valentine's argument. It was the best end of any on-field argument.
