The Twins have been bad this year. Carl Pavano has been bad this year. Now Pavano is probably heading for the DL.
It's been a miserable season for the Minnesota Twins, who begin Sunday with the worst record in the American League.
It's been a miserable season for Twins starter Carl Pavano, who with a 6.00 ERA in 11 starts has the third-highest such mark for any qualified AL starter.
Now we know one possible reason for this:

Nothing specific. Just "lacks strength." You could probably say this about the entire Twins team, given their 19-33 record. If you are keeping track of the Minnesota rotation:

Manship has a 5.65 career ERA in 30 appearances (six starts) over the last four seasons with the Twins.
So it goes in Minnesota in the 2012 baseball season.
