The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed on a trade that will send catcher George Kottaras to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for relief pitcher Fautino De Los Santos. A deal was rumored to be in the works Saturday, and on Sunday the A's announced the trade via their Twitter feed.

The A's have been using Kurt Suzuki and rookie Derek Norris at catcher this season. With Kottaras in tow, they now have some needed depth as well as some flexibility to potentially deal Suzuki down the road. De Los Santos should give a maligned Brewers bullpen a boost.
Kottaras is hitting .209/.409/.360 this season. De Los Santos has a 3.00 ERA in just three innings pitched this season.
