Hey, remember when Tim Lincecum pitched seven shutout innings and got his ERA all the way down to 5.60?
That was awesome.
Not so awesome was when Lincecum, in his next start, gave up eight runs in 3⅓ innings. That just happened, actually, and now he's got a 6.17 ERA, basically the same as two weeks ago.
The farther we get into the season, the harder it gets to salvage the season.
