Recent estimates of the time players will spend on the disabled list after various surgeries have turned out to be quite accurate.
When Indians DH Travis Hafner had surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee on May 31, it was estimated he’d be out four to six weeks. Here we are a little more than four weeks later, and:
DH Travis Hafner activated from DL. Shelley Duncan not listed. No official word but assuming he’s on paternity leave (twin boys on the way).

If the report on Duncan turns out to be the move, hje can be gone for up to a week on the newly-created paternity list. After he returns, another roster move will need to be made. Hafner is in the Indians’ starting lineup for their 4:05 p.m. ET game Wednesday against the Angels, batting cleanup.
