The Cubs' no-hit streak, the longest such streak in MLB history, dates back to Sandy Koufax's perfect game on September 9, 1965. Back then, "sock hops" were all the rage, you could buy a house for a nickel, and our decades-long war with Switzerland was drawing to a close.
