Since 2000, two National League teams issued fewer than 20 intentional walks in a season: the 2011 Brewers and 2011 Diamondbacks, 16 each. The D'Backs are on pace for 16 free passes again this year.
What I find hilarious about this: Arizona's manager Kirk Gibson famously should have been walked in Game 5 the 1984 World Series. (And in retrospect, the 1988 Series too.)
