Internet Christmas for Baseball Nerds, Part XXIII

Stay connected for news and updates

The history of the Pacific Coast League fascinates me -- before the Giants and Dodgers moved, it was all the West Coast had, and it was a huge deal. Teams in the PCL used to swap really good players with major-league teams.

And over at the Chronicle, there's a photo gallery of Seals Stadium, which used to host the San Francisco Seals and Mission Reds. It also hosted the Giants for two seasons before that wonderland at Candlestick was finished.
