Brandon Phillips made several intelligent, completely reasonable remarks yesterday about fielding, Gold Glove voting, and the importance of defensive range versus avoiding errors. I encourage you to read the whole thing. But he also said this:
Everybody knows that I'm the best defensive second baseman.
I don't know that!
