The Brewers’ Aramis Ramirez hit a double Monday against the Nationals. It was his 50th of the season.
He’s the first player in three years to do that; the last to have 50 or more in a season were the Orioles’ Brian Roberts (56) and the Royals’ Billy Butler (51), in 2009.
It’s the 86th season of 50 or more doubles since 1901.
