From Jeff Fletcher at the Orange County Register, we have a stat that makes you kick your computer, trying to get it to work right.
Presenting the 2012 Los Angeles Angels:
| Split | AB |
|---|---|
| vs RHP as RHB | 2646 |
| vs RHP as LHB | 1406 |
| vs LHP as RHB | 1477 |
| vs LHP as LHB | 7 |
Fletcher notes that it's easily the lowest total in ten years, but I'd wager a sawbuck that it's the lowest total ever. The Angels have a bunch of right-handers and switch-hitters. You knew that, but I don't think any of us knew exactly how extreme their roster (and managing) really was.
