Today is Hank Aaron's 79th birthday, so Happy Birthday, Hank. My gift to Mr. Aaron is to correct an error that was made back when he was just 23 years old. In 1957, the Topps company released his baseball card with the image reversed. It wasn't as though Aaron was an obscurity at that point, struggling to make his name known. He had just won the National League batting average title and finished third in the MVP voting. But mistakes happen (there's probably one in this paragraph somewhere) and, thanks to modern technology, mistakes can be fixed.
Therefore, on this auspicious occasion, here is Hank Aaron's 1957 baseball card showing him hitting from the right side, as his maker intended.
Update...
I've cleaned up that mysterious "shadow" under his arm.
