Al Yellon

Editor

Al Yellon is a Cubs fan. For that, he hopes you will indulge him. He's seen Cubs failures since 1969, including the agonizingly close playoff misses in 1984 and 2003. For that, at least a bit of sympathy is requested. Al runs the SB Nation Cubs blog Bleed Cubbie Blue and is the co-author of Cubs By The Numbers, a look at the fascinating stories behind every Cub who's ever donned a jersey with a number on the back. When he's not writing for Bleed Cubbie Blue or Baseball Nation, you can find him in the left field bleachers at Wrigley Field, where someday, he knows he'll see the Cubs win a World Series. (Yes, really.)
