Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg will only get two more starts during the 2012 season, manager Davey Johnson confirmed on Sunday.

The Blue Jays signed Jeff Mathis to a two-year, $3 million extension on Tuesday. The team has an option on the third year worth $1.5 million.
