If there are infinite parallel universes out there, the Marlins win the World Series in every 3,000th one. That's how I'm taking that. They play at a .750 clip for the rest of the season, and then they steamroll the National League to get to the World Series. Would Marlins Park be filled for that? Oh, surely, but I'd bet that half the fans weren't wearing teal and orange. It would be amazing.
The smart money is still on the Yankees, of course. At 25-to-1, it's just a bad bet, not a dreadful one. Also, the Yankees are going to sign Jeff Francoeur and he's going to hit 25 homers in the second half, if that helps you with your betting needs.
