In the first game of Tuesday's Cards/Pirates doubleheader, A.J. Burnett wasn't happy. The leadoff hitter struck out on a pitch that hit him, and he ended up on second base. In a 1-1 game, it was a brutal call.
On the next pitch, Burnett didn't get a call. He was a little disappointed. Then umpire Eric Cooper wigged out.
Deadspin has the video, and it's amazing. I'm not sure how Cooper slipped by the rigorous psychological profiling puts their umpires through, but here we are.
