Do you remember the first really good curveball you ever saw as a little leaguer? I do. Hector threw it. Hector nicknamed himself "Fireball Hector," and by the time he was 14, he had a wicked curveball and a Pedro Martinez mentality about pitching inside. It was Fireball Hector who made me take up the guitar, more or less.
So, yes, I remember the first really good curveball I ever saw.
So will this kid.

Unfortunately, he's the only one lucky enough to have a GIF of it. Wish I had one. Even if it's a little embarrassing for the kid right now, he'll appreciate this one day. I hope. Because that is an all-time fantastic reaction to a curveball.
I like how the pitcher thinks he should get the call just because of the wreckage that ensued. He's probably right.
